Did you know that in the past two years, employees who have been on the job less than one year accounted for nearly 40 percent of the total claims costs and number of claims reported to Pinnacol? This course will provide you with information to help you safely introduce new employees to your workplace pre- and post-offer. In addition, we will discuss specific opportunities to review potential employees and what steps you can take to ensure you are hiring employees who are as committed to safety are you are.

Sleep deprivation and disorders can have a significant impact on the safety and performance of your employees. Since sleeping isn’t something that typically happens at work, you probably have no idea how your employees fair. In this session, you will learn about the impact of sleep and fatigue on your employees’ safety and wellness, and how this is often compounded by shift work, extended work days and other health conditions. Like many other workplace risk factors, the sleep health of your employees can be managed. We’ll help you identify ways to improve those ZZZs for your employees and your bottom line.
